RECIPES AND FOOD HINTS

Go to PACKING INFO for useful info....Please review TRAIL JOURNALS for useful info.

You can UPS me stoves and fuel....even if you don't need a shuttle....or can UPS it to yourself....360-374-5341 is UPS office in Forks. Park no longer allows 3rd party to pick up bear cans, but I have 2 available, returning to me will be more complicated, but both are available, first come first served.

Some areas allow bear wires and some don't - please click on spacerBEAR CAN AND WIRE INFO (at bottom of article) to see areas and requirements. This link also shows stores where you can rent cans.

If your trip schedule doesn't allow you to obtain bear cans - I can rent park cans for you - they cost me $3 and will cost you $3 per can.

Every Ranger Station I have visited has a return box for cans. It is usually located on the outside accessible after hours. You DO NOT have to return your cans to the ranger station you borrowed it from. YOU DO HAVE TO CLEAN THEM.
