TOWNSHIP, RANGE, SECTION: T5N R4E SECTION 22
USGS TOPOGRAPHIC MAP: Sturgis
RIVER OR STREAM: Boulder Creek
COUNTY: Lawrence County
STATE: South Dakota
Follow Highway 14A west from stugis and I 90. Continue west and go through Boulder Canyon and Boulder Park until you reach forest Service Road 306 on the south side of Highway 14a. Claim begins on approximately 300 feet south and southeast from 14A and forest Service Road 306. Creek is on right side of road. From Sturgis to claim is approximately 5.5 miles.
Claim is best for panning and sluicing normally from late March until mid-June due to lack of water by mid-summer. Mostly fine gold, but some nice flakes and small nuggets have been found. Exposed bedrock
