    The oldest recreational Gold Prospecting Club in New Mexico, founded 1980. Regular meetings every month start at 6:30 PM. everyone is welcome. Dues are a split structure, Club dues are currently (03/2000) $35 per year , and if you want unlimited claims access, there's an additional $25.00 reclamation fee each year. Club currently owns 8 placer claims in central NM, but is also looking for more. This is a family club, women and children welcome. Meetings are open to the public. Hope to see you there!

We are a club of about 135 members. We pan, sluice, dredge and metal detect. We are very active locally by teaching gold panning to school children and we have a stretch of Highway that we clean up in a litter program, that keeps our name on a sign for all to see year around. We are active politically to preserve our rights and heritage. We have an outing the weekend following the meeting on one of our various claims.

  • The Mohave Prospectors is a club of approximately 300 members and growing. We enjoy drywashing, panning, metal detecting and sluicing. We are located in the north east part of Arizona, and now have 300 acres in active claims available in Gold Basin, Arizona.

    The Prospector's Club of So. Calif. meets on the third Friday night of every month at the "Woman's Club Meeting Hall" -at- 9813 Paramount Blvd. in the city of Downey, California.

    The meeting hall is on the southwest corner of Paramount Blvd. and Lubec. (One long block north of Florence ave. on Paramount Blvd.) See maps above. Meetings start at 8:00 P.M. and all guests are always welcome!

    The Prospector's Club of Southern California is a legally chartered, non-profit corporation - Dedicated to gold prospecting, metal detecting and treasure hunting. Meetings are held each month on the third Friday night of the month. Field trips are usually held one week after the meeting every month. Visitors are always welcome! We encourage them to attend our meetings and join our club. Please feel free to attend!

    We are group of miners and prospectors that are dedicated to education. We are members of the California Mineral Education Foundation and our members volunteer their time to teach the kids at the schools. Many of the members use metal detectors and some of our members have their own claims. This association has a long history in the mercury mines of Santa Clara County.

    The Gold Prospectors of the Rockies (GPR) was founded in Denver, Colorado, in 1995. The general purpose of this non-profit, family-oriented club is "the advancement of gold prospecting." The GPR meets once a month to educate members about placer gold prospecting, review old and new products, coordinate family outings, participate in drawings for nuggets, and promote the pursuit of gold. Each month, the club arranges a presentation on an aspect of gold prospecting. Also, the club holds on-site training sessions in how to locate placer gold, panning, highbanking, dredging, and metal detecting, and publishes a monthly newsletter. The website has many articles on recovery of gold.

    Millennium Diggers is a club that started up in January, 2000. The club is for people that like to dig things up.   • WILLAMETTE VALLEY MINERS

    Our club enjoys metal detecting and gold prospecting. We have two gold claims, one on the North Fork of the Santiam and one in eastern Oregon on Vincent Creek. Many of or members have gold dredges and high bankers.

    We have scheduled outings every year and that schedule is being formed at this time. I will update you when finished. We participate with a 4 tub panning booth at the River of Gems rock and gem show at Rickreall Fair Grounds April 14th 15th & 16th.

    NCWP is an active club with 150 members and growing. The club has scheduled outings each month as well as monthly meetings every 3rd Monday. The club owns 9 claims in Oregon and 7 claims in Washington. Gold is found on each of the claims and occasionally a rare coin is found in the creek bed.
