INFORMATION ABOUT TRAIL :
Hike 2.4 miles up through World Class Silver Fir and Mountain Hemlock (climax forest) to the mini-meadow at
Wynoochee Pass. Drop down into Graves Creek Basin (large green meadows) then X/C to meet the Sundown Lake trail.
This is so lightly used, it has plants growing in the middle of the tread. Pristine. Likely to see elk and bears.
This is a minor scramble in parts, nothing dangerous. It is definitely in the moderate range because of
the cross country travel of part of the route. Sturdy boots and a "minimum weight" pack are advisable.
The trail is an over grown, hard to follow shortcut to Lake Sundwon.
Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
