SUMMERTIME AT SMITH CABIN

Mr. Larry Vaughan was kind enough to send these pictures of his grandmother - Marion Wood and his grandfather - Harold Wood - spending one of many summers at the Oscar Smith cabin on the Queets. They were married in 1927, so these photos are approximately from that period.

Mrs. Wood, still living in Des Moines, Washington, is pictured holding a fish and enjoying the fireplace. Mr. Wood is in the photo with the horses, he is the one on the far left. Click on each picture to see enlarged version.
