A little traveled ridge between Lake Crescent and the Sol Duc valley. Aurora Ridge, which lies immediately south of Lake Crescent, reaches heights of 4,175 feet. Precipitation is not as high here as areas south of Crescent Lake and temperatures rarely dip below freezing.
