Elder Bob, his experience hiking the Park, his wisdom, and unique view of the world was a great source and help developing some of the pages on my site - The Windsox site. Knowing a unique mind is a privilege and something I didn't want to keep to myself. I forced him into creating pages on my site. Eventually, we both realized - a separate web site was the only answer. He has so much to offer and I am overwhelmed with upkeep on my site...not able to devote the needed time to keep his pages current and his audience satisfied.
There is and will continue to be a relationship between Windsox's site and Elder Bob's site. There will be some duplication between the two sites. However the two sites are now separate, but connected. The Windsox site is strictly about the Olympic National Park and Elder Bob's site is full of his unique and unusual view of life - plus an amazing amount of common sense and useful information.
Bob and I have spent countless hours trying to optimize our sites for viewers using different screen resolution settings - an ongoing point of conversation and consternation. The Windsox site was set up using a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels with font size of 96 psi. It is still visible using a resolution of 800x600 and font size of 96 ppi. Elder Bob's site was set up using 800x600 pixels with font size of 96psi and is still visible using a resolution of 1024x768 pixels with font size of 96psi. Your control panel's display icon (sub selection - Settings) is how you determine screen resolution. Trying to adapt pages for either resolution creates some viewer problems - Apology given - hopefully accepted.
