For all you people who say "I love you" when you have no clue what love is exactly!!! Here's something to ponder on....

What is love? When we claim that it's love that we have for someone, are we correct?

Are your palms sweaty, is your heart racing and is your voice caught within your chest?........ It isn't love, it's like.

You can't keep your eyes or hands off of them, am I right?........It isn't love, it's lust.

Are you proud, and eager to show them off?........It isn't love, it's luck.

Do you want them because you know they're there?........It isn't love, it's loneliness.

Are you there because it's what everyone wants?........It isn't love, it's loyalty.

Are you there because they kissed you, or held your hand?........It isn't love, it's low confidence.

Do you stay for their confessions of love, because you don't want to hurt them?........It isn't love, it's pity.

Do you belong to them because their sight makes your heart skip a beat?........It isn't love, it's infatuation.

Do you pardon their faults because you care about them?........It isn't love, it's friendship.

Do you tell them every day they are the only one you think of?........ It isn't love, it's a lie.

Are you willing to give all of your favorite things for their sake?........It isn't love, it's charity.

Does your heart ache and break when they're sad? .......Then it's love.

Do you cry for their pain, even when they're strong?......Then it's love.

Do their eyes see your true heart, and touch your soul so deeply it hurts?......Then it's love.

Do you stay because a blinding, incomprehensible mix of pain and relation pulls you close and holds you there?......Then it's love.

Do you accept their faults because they're a part of who they are?......Then it's love.

Are you attracted to others, but stay with them faithfully without regret?......Then it's love.

Would you give them your heart, your life, your death? Then it's love.

Now, if love is painful, and tortures us so, why do we love? Why is it all we search for in life?

This pain, this agony? Why is it all we long for? This torture, this powerful death of self? Why? The answer is so simple: cause it's...LOVE.

It is such an addictive thing that even people who are not having it wish to experience it and share it with others as well.

This must take a special kind of person.

1. How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the tomb of the Unknowns and why?

21 steps. It alludes to the twenty-one gun salute, which is the highest honor given any military or foreign dignitary.

2. How long does he hesitate after his about face to begin his return walk and why?

21 seconds for the same reason as answer number 1.

3. Why are his gloves wet?

His gloves are moistened to prevent his losing his grip on the rifle.

4. Does he carry his rifle on the same shoulder all the time, and if not, why not?

He carries the rifle on the shoulder away from the tomb. After his march across the path, he executes an about face, and moves the rifle to the outside shoulder.

5. How often are the guards changed?

Guards are changed every thirty minutes, twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year.

6. What are the physical traits of the guard limited to?

For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be between 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30".

Other requirements of the Guard:

They must commit 2 years of life to guard the tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives. They cannot swear in public for the rest of their lives and cannot disgrace the uniform {fighting} or the tomb in any way

After two years, the guard is given a wreath pin that is worn on their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only 400 presently worn. The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their lives or give up the wreath pin.

The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt. There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform. Guards dress for duty in front of a full-length mirror.

The first six months of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone, nor watch TV. All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A guard must memorize who they are and where they are interred. Among the notables are: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis {the boxer} and Medal of Honor winner Audie Murphy, {the most decorated soldier of WWII} of Hollywood fame. Every guard spends five hours a day getting his uniforms ready for guard duty.

Don't let your worries get the best of you ... remember, Moses started out as a basket case.

Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited until you try to sit in their pews.

Many folks want to serve God, but only as advisors.

It is easier to preach ten sermons, than it is to live one.

When you get to your wit's end, you'll find God lives there.

People are funny ... they want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back of the church.

Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever.

Quit griping about your church ... if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.

If the church wants a better pastor, it only needs to pray for the one it has.

Some minds are like concrete ... thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

Peace starts with a smile.

I don't know why some people change churches ... what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

A lot of church members who are singing "Standing on the Promises" are just sitting on the premises.

We were called to be witnesses, not lawyers or judges.

Be ye fishers of men. You catch them - He'll clean them.

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

If God is your Co-pilot ... swap seats.

Don't give God instructions ... just report for duty.

The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

The Will of God never takes you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.

We don't change the message ... the message changes us.
