CITY BUS TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
METRO TRIP PLANNER
Seattle's public mass transit service is the cheapest form of transportation to/from the airport but it can also be the most inconvenient.
The rate is $1.00 - $1.25 per trip (one way). If your destination is downtown Seattle or the University District you first need to catch either Metro bus #174 , #194 , or Sound Transit Route (bus) #570 from SeaTac Intl Airport to downtown.
To continue on to the University District (and Lake Union) you then need to transfer to one of the following Metro bus routes: #66 , #70 , #71 , #72 , or #73. The main differences among these routes are final destination and the particular stop locations in the University District (please click buttons for route maps).

TAXICAB OPTIONS
The TAXICAB OPTION is the most expensive form of transportation to/from the airport. Cab fare is approximately $40 from the airport to the University. University is 5+ miles north of downtown Seattle. Airport is 20 miles south of downtown Seattle.
Use the telephone outside of baggage claim at the passenger loading zone for cab dispatch.
