Special Concerns
Leave No Trace: Please Leave No Trace of your stay to help protect park resources and to prevent further damage. Camp in established sites or on the beach above the high tide line to prevent damage to vegetation.

Fires: Gather firewood from the beach only, not from the forest. This depletes the organic nutrients of the forest.

Wildlife Precautions: Save the Bears! Please learn how to properly secure your food to protect bears and yourself.

The use of a hard-sided container for food storage is required on the entire Olympic Coas . Do not feed any wild animals!

Safety: Use caution when rounding headlands and always travel with a tide chart. See Coastal Hiking for more information.
